The best robot vacuum for pet hair self-emptying Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

For pets with shedding fur, a robot vacuum/mop combo is one of the best floor cleaning solutions. The machine can mop, vacuum and clean its own dual mop pad.

It also has 8,000Pa suction, which is the highest of any robot we've evaluated. It can also organize cleaning schedules and save your house's maps using its app.

1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the latest in Ecovacs line of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This model is equipped with Ecovacs' new AIVI 3D 2.0 lidar system, which offers improved mapping and obstacle avoidance. The system is dual-laser LiDAR which is similar to what you'll find in self-driving vehicles -- and can scan an area of up to 32 feet in 270 degrees. This translates to more precise mapping, quicker response times, and better cleaning accuracy.

It also comes with an alternating mopping mat made of chenille, making it easier to scrub hard-to-clean areas than traditional mops. In my testing the X2 Omni took just over a minute to wash its pad and begin work. I also noticed that it was more precise than other models that seemed to follow a gridded route around rooms. It was adept at navigating my rooms' corners and edges, as well as make a "Zambani pattern" up and down the middle of the room. It also returned to its OMNI station on a regular basis to empty the dust bin and clean the mop using hot water before starting another task of cleaning.

Like other Ecovacs products the X2 Omni is a breeze to set up and start using. Snap the dock into position then plug it in and pair it with your home WiFi network. It takes just about a minute. Then, you can launch the app to begin your first cleaning task. I was able to customize my floor plan within 15 minutes. This included creating limited areas for sweeping and mopping and rearranging the layout of furniture that is mounted on walls and more. The X2 Omni performed admirably in my tests. It scored highly in the areas of pet hair removal and debris removal. It also was near-perfect in its results for crevices and edge cleaning.

2. Deebot T10 Omni

The T10 Omni from ECOVACS is a powerful mopping and vacuum cleaner. It is the most advanced model of the brand's T-line and features the brand's new OZMO Turbo 2.0 mopping system that uses dual-spinning brushes for superior cleaning over traditional oscillating scrubbers. It also comes with YIKO built-in, a unique natural language processing technology that allows it to respond to a variety of voice commands. You can make use of the ECOVACS app to map your home, establish cleaning schedules, and alter settings.

The T10 Omni's biggest flaw is that it cannot switch from mopping and vacuuming in a single run. The T10 Omni has two modes that require you to attach mop heads and take them off according to your needs. This is great for most households, but not so for those with busy lives.

However, the Deebot Omni is an excellent robot vacuum that delivers outstanding results in our tests for pet hair. It removed more than 96% of debris from our hardwood flooring. This is an excellent performance. It was a success on carpets and tiles, removing 99% of dirt.

This robot vacuum and mops has an extensive docking system that allows for automatic cleaning with cool mop pads. It also comes with an auto-emptying 3L bag that's easy to replace and hot air drying for quick and easy maintenance. It also comes with a large tank of water that allows it to be washed and dried more often between mopping sessions.

As with other mopping robots like the Deebot T10 Omni, it has a wash tray in its base, which rinses and dry its mop pads when it uses them. However, it doesn't have a removable tray, which means dirty water dust, dirt and other grime accumulates in the bottom of the tray over time.

3. RoboVac X8 Hybrid

This is the first mopping model from Anker, which is known for its robot vacuums. It has improved intelligence and support for multiple maps, LIDAR scanning and twin-turbine technology that adjusts automatically to the type of surface you're cleaning. It's a mid-range cleaner that's stylish even if the claim of being a one-stop-shop for floor cleaning doesn't be realized.

The X8 Hybrid appears to be a standard robotic cleaner from the top. It has a circular form, sweeping wheels, and a raised sensor area. On the other side, you'll see a motorised floorbrush and a single side brush that pushes dust away from the edges and into the main artery of its' mouth.' It's a little smaller than the main brushes on the rival iRobot Roomba S9, which I found to be easier to fit under couches and chairs.

Its mapping system is fairly sophisticated and allows you to set no-mop zones, as well as specific cleaning zones. It has a habit of hitting objects like its charging station, and isn't the best at climbing over carpets. It did a good job of picking up pet hair on bare floors, though, and in our tests, it picked up 89.5% of kitty litter, which puts it ahead of all but the strongest robots we've examined.

While it's controllable via the app and the app, the X8 Hybrid also comes with physical buttons on its base that let you select the cleaning mode and turn the robot off and on. These buttons can be used to set up no-go areas and look up maps in real-time. It's also a bit chatty, and will let you know what it's planning to do next (start cleaning) or notify you if something isn't working.

4. ILIFE A4s

This high-tech model sucks up pet hair, kibble and other particles with top-quality efficiency and maneuvers flawlessly around furniture legs. It comes with a set of features that is impressive, such as two cleaning modes as well as an automatic docking station, and a real-time obstacle avoidance system. The Wi-Fi enabled device is operated via the Neato App, where cleanings are scheduled and maintenance requirements are monitored. The X2 Omni is a great option for homes with large spaces that have a mix of hard and carpet floors. However, it will need some planning ahead to avoid getting entangled with toys, power cables, or other unexpected obstructions.

In our test of hardwood floors and kibble it performed well and was able to take everything from one grain of rice to several pieces of dog food in just one pass. It had some trouble with rugs but, generally, this vacuum cleaner is perfect for large rooms that contain both types of flooring as well as a mixture of pets.

It's a bit expensive, but if you can manage the price, it's a great purchase for those who want to be able to leave their homes completely free to perform other tasks or take care of chores. The A4s Pro also offers a convenient auto cleaning mode that boosts suction power to handle tough dirt and spills, and it includes batteries that power the ElectroWall that allows you to place boundaries where the robot is not allowed to access.

This budget-friendly robot from a renowned new brand is the cheapest we've tested and provides exceptional value for money. Its navigation system is basic and uses an extremely basic random pathing algorithm, but it doesn't have room mapping capabilities, making it less efficient than other models on this list. However, it's still able to get under furniture and into corners, and its mopping mode worked very well during our tests it picked up pet hair and other debris effortlessly.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ might not be as durable however, it's better in removing pet hair from all surfaces. It is more effective of cleaning carpets with low piles and floor surfaces that are bare. It also utilizes the smart-pathing software for better mobility. It also allows you to assign it to a specific room, and its advanced suite of automation features includes no-go zones as well as scheduling. It also allows you to pause and restart cleaning sessions making it ideal for homes that have pets.

Its self-cleaning brushroll prevents knots from pet hair and other debris and its self-emptying docking station can hold up to 30 days worth of dirt prior to needing to be emptied. It has a set angled side brushes to reach into corners, as well as a multi-stage filter system that collects dust, allergens and dander.

The iQ robot vacuum is well-built and feels solid. It works with an app on your smartphone which lets you alter the settings of your vacuum and schedule cleaning times ahead of time. The app lets you see the remaining battery life of the iQ and also receive push notifications when it encounters any problems during a cleaning session. You can also control it using your voice using an Amazon Alexa device or Google Assistant device. If you don't own either of these devices, you can mark areas with physical boundary markers strips.

The iQ does a good job of cleaning floors and does a decent job on shaggy and low-pile carpet however it lacks the same degree of autonomy as our top selections. It's also costly, and its recurring costs can add up over time.honiture-robot-vacuum-cleaner-with-mop-4
